This 12,000-foot, 350-guest capacity space in the old factory boiler room is available for hosting weddings, private parties, art exhibitions, fundraisers, and more. A list of preferred caterers can take care of any need. Event planners may tap into our current tenant list that includes specialty food producers, photographers, and florists.

Pricing and Event Venue Info
Globe Dye Works was established along the Little Tacony Creek (now Torresdale Avenue) in 1865. The facility was a prolific yarn and thread dyeing factory until 2005. Under new ownership since 2008, the adaptive re-use of the property currently consists of 12 residential units and 40 commercial studios. The Event Space is located in the old boiler room at the heart of the factory and features relics from the building’s industrial past.
Event Space amenities include: Central A/C and heat, house lighting package, facility management team, two built-in bars, lounge furniture, private wedding suite, multiple restrooms, large dining areas, ceremony space/open-air courtyard, dance floor, gallery space, and access to a 30-car parking lot adjacent to the building. The entire location is in compliance with accessibility guidelines.
Globe Dye Works is a BYO venue with full bar service available through our preferred caterers. The entire space accommodates approximately 200 guests seated comfortably, or 275 guests cocktail style.
